• Hy-Fan is assembled in California with materials made in China. 

Why was Hy-Fan created?

• As our founder is an avid practitioner of hydration while on-the-go, his struggles with bulky water bottles and the inability to hydrate in motion lead him to seek out a solution he quickly found was yet to exist. After weeks of building and tinkering in the garage, Hy-Fan was born.  

Is Hy-Fan suitable for all ages?

• Hy-Fan is suitable for all ages 3+, builds and outdoor activities. 

How heavy is Hy-Fan when it's empty?

• Hy-Fan weighs in at 8 ounces dry and just over one pound when full.

Can I wear Hy-Fan in different ways (e.g., front, back, side)?

• Hy-Fan can be worn any style the user prefers but is best worn sling style.

How do I clean Hy-Fan?

• We recommend hand washing the bladder, tube, and bite valve with mild soap and warm water. 

How much liquid can Hy-Fan hold?

• The current max capacity is 17 fluid ounces.

Is Hy-Fan suitable for all outdoor activities?

• Pretty much! It’s hard to think of a specific activity that isn’t suitable for Hy-Fan, scuba diving with a Hy-Fan might not be ideal. 

What kind of beverages can I store in Hy-Fan?

• Hy-Fan is not partial to what you put into it. Just be sure to rinse or wash your bladder immediately after use especially if it was filled with anything other than plain water.

How long does the liquid stay cool in Hy-Fan?

• Many variables play a role in keeping your hydration cool such as the temperature when filled, ambient temperature, clothing worn, etc. It’s best to chill your liquid ahead of time to keep it as cool as possible. 

Are there pockets or compartments for non-liquid items?

• Yes! There are several pockets for convenient storage of all your essentials. 

Do I need any special tools to assemble or adjust Hy-Fan?

• Absolutely not!

Is the hydration system BPA-free?

• Yes! The bladder is BPA and PVC free. 

How durable is Hy-Fan?

• Our packs are designed and built to last for months or even years with proper care. Replacement bladders are also available in the event of needing replacing. 

Are there any safety precautions I should be aware of?

• Hy-Fan is not suitable for children under 3 years of age

How resistant is Hy-Fan to leaks?

• Hy-Fan demonstrates strong resistance to leaks. It has endured multiple crashes on bikes, skateboards, and scooters, sustaining only slight abrasions to the packs.

Can Hy-Fan withstand extreme temperatures?

• If you can bear the conditions then so can Hy-Fan. Just be sure to wear your Hy-Fan under your jacket to prevent freezing in extreme cold. 

What materials is Hy-Fan made of?

• The Hy-Fan is constructed from a variety of materials, including PU faux leather, Nylon, and PVC.

Is the hydration tube replaceable?

• Yes the hydration tube is replaceable.

Do you ship internationally?

• Currently, international shipping isn't available, but we are actively working towards offering it.
